How many faces are you able to paint in an hour/how long does it take to paint one face? This question varies immensely across situations. I have experience painting hundreds of faces in 3 hours time during fast paced community events. I can paint rather fast. However, some kids want full-face designs and some only want half face. It really depends on the exact design, the kid, and the circumstances. If you book Monica for a party she will make sure every kid has their face painted in the timeframe allotted when the event is booked.

What does the process look like when creating a mural?Monica will work with the customer to see the space wanted for the mural, come up with a quote and create a sketch design to be approved by the customer. Once the customer approves the design and the supplies are order, Monica will work with the customer to set up designated times for her to be there. When completing a mural it is important for the client to understand that art is a process and murals happen in layers. Meaning, as an artist, Monica knows where the mural is going and the steps involved in creating a mural. Customers are asked to be patient as the first layer is often a black outline Monica creates for her own process. Just like getting a tattoo, trust is key!

How are murals priced?Murals are priced based on their size. Customers will get a quote from the artist ahead of time along with the cost of materials for the decided design. A deposit of $150 is due at the time of booking the mural. While I have to make sure to cover what I need, I always try to work with people and their budget when possible. Access to art is important!
